Manta

MANTA is an eyewear piece 3D-modeled in VR using Gravity Sketch, inspired by the fluid hydrodynamics and skeletal morphology of manta rays. The outer shell is 3D-printed in aluminum, and the lenses are fabricated from high-gloss polycarbonate, shaped to echo the sweeping curvature of the ray's cephalic fins. MANTA explores how aquatic biomechanics can inform wearable design — translating underwater movement into sculptural form through digital and physical fabrication.
