RingPop Campaign
Creative Direction2025
Yanly contributed to the MSCHF RingPop campaign through creative direction support, traveling to Tokyo to develop a visual narrative influenced by the city’s underground rave scene and gyaru subculture. The imagery explores an exaggerated, almost chaotic sensibility where candy, jewelry, and object fetish merge into a hyper-saturated nightlife atmosphere. Drawing references from Tokyo’s late-night visual language — neon tones, distorted beauty, and playful excess — the campaign positions the RingPop as both accessory and artifact. The direction embraces a raw, rebellious energy, capturing a moment that feels simultaneously artificial and intimate, balancing humor with subcultural authenticity.
